The paintings of Bob Beck tell you a great deal
about the man. His works reflect his love of the great outdoors,
particularly the Southwest. Favorite subjects range from old farm
houses, barns, and wildlife to Indian pueblos and hornos.
Major influences in Beck's growth as an artist
have been studies with several prominent artists, including H.T.
Parris, Lawanda Calton, and Doug Higgins in oils, as well as Jose
Sanchez and Mell Feltman in watercolors.
He has chosen not to enter his paintings in
competitive shows, feeling
that the greater satisfaction comes when viewers of his paintings
choose them to hang in their homes or offices where they become an
integral part of their daily lives. His paintings hang throughout our
country and in many foreign countries.
Because Beck is also a precision custom framer,
his pieces are complemented by tasteful matting and framing that he has
done in his studio.
