Joseph Fraqua is a
talented potter/sculptor from the Jemez Pueblo. He and his family
have
been continuing the traditional methods for untold generations.
Joseph works with
local clay found in the Jemez mountains near Santa Fe. He does
not only
these Kachari, (clown) pieces, but also does various sculptural forms
representing feast days, etc.
We are excited to be
able to feature these Kachari figures. We will soon have several
larger
pieces to choose from.
Call or email me with
questions or orders for these wonderful sculptures. jeff.tabor@comcast.net
