Hubbard was born in Arkansas
and moved to Massachusetts in 1980 where he attended Boston University
School of Fine Arts, receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
painting four years later.
Art Exchange Gallery has proudly represented the
art of Ron Hubbard since 1995. He has had numerous group shows and
one-man shows in Massachusetts, and has received awards for his work,
including a “Best of Show” award from the Whistler House Museum in
Lowell, Massachusetts from their annual invitational, and “Winsor and
Newton Merchandise” award from the notable, Stamford Art Association’s
national “Faber Birren Color Awards Show”.
His work has been collected nationally and
internationally. Hubbard has a wonderful sense of color and texture in
his work. He has a grasp of drawing that few artists possess. His love
of line and composition are evident in his work.
